How our injection molding plant network is built

Every partner plant holds one lane in its region. A lane is a band of press sizes, resins and part types. Plants in the network do not compete for your RFQ, so the plant that gets it quotes it properly.

The lanes

Ranges are typical for each lane. A plant may run presses outside its lane, but it is matched only to parts inside it. A lane opens to buyers when a plant in it has passed the audit below. Ask in your RFQ and we tell you which lanes are open in which region.

What we check before a plant joins

We visit every plant before it receives an RFQ. The audit is the same for every plant and it covers what decides whether your parts arrive right: presses, molds, resin, measuring and paperwork.

  • PressesBrand, clamp force, shot size and age of every press. We look at the presses running, not the list on the brochure.
  • Mold makingIn-house tool room or a named partner tool shop. Who designs the mold, who cuts the steel, who repairs it.
  • Resin handlingDryers by resin, how lots are labeled and traced from the bag to the box, regrind rules.
  • MeasuringCalipers to CMM or vision system, gauge calibration records and who signs inspection reports.
  • Sample processHow T1 samples are run, what goes in the sample report and how mold corrections are logged.
  • Process recordsSetup sheets per mold, scrap tracking and how a process change is approved.
  • Export paperworkCommercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and export packing for overseas buyers.

Region by region

We open one region at a time, so that each plant can be visited in person and visited again when something goes wrong. The first region is Binh Duong and Dong Nai in southern Vietnam, an industrial region with many plastics plants and tool shops.

Plants in other regions can register now. They stay on the list until their region opens.

What the plant shows you on every new part

  • Mold design reviewGate position, parting line, ejection and cooling, before steel is cut.
  • T1 sample reportMeasured dimensions against your drawing, with photos and process settings.
  • First articleFull dimensional report on parts from the approved process.
  • Process sheetThe settings that made the approved parts, kept for every repeat order.
